My 26th birthday started out probably the best way it could….I was getting ready in the bathroom and Liam walked, looked at me and said “Mommy, petty” I got immediately teary eyed. It was the sweetest and most sincere moment between mother and son. The absolute best. 
We then headed out to Highlands Ranch to meet our MOPS group AND hang out with our playgroup which coincidentally decided to meet at the same park at the same time! Convenient for us! Although Liam did throw his first full on temper tantrum in front of everyone. I’m talking, threw himself on the ground screaming and kicking. Even threw his hat! Yeah….
Ashley and I had planned on going to brunch afterwards at Snooze since that is our birthday tradition, so I was very surprised when we walked in and Jen walked up to us bringing me beautiful flowers! I was so surprised I had no idea!!! I was even more surprised when someone came and sat down beside me and as I looked over I realized it was my mom! SOOOOO SURPRISED! I loved it. So simple and yet so awesome. Ashley is the best friend for always making my birthday such a big deal and setting this like this up! We had an amazing brunch! 
That evening I just wanted to be with my family. We had some yummy Chinese food and then went down to Gaylord street in Wash Park and had some yummy treats at Devil’s Food Bakery and Cookery.
I love these two with my whole heart. Ryan is such a wonderful husband and father. I am so very lucky he loves me so much!
This place is fabulous! Highly suggest it!! Would be perfect on a fall afternoon. Hot cup of tea and a warm pastry. 
M is for McCarthy…actually it was for Mocha cake but it was my birthday I make the rules!
After having such a splendid day we had a little get together with some close friends and our families.
Kortnee made these incredible donuts! The churro donuts were the perfect compliment to the taco bar! Everyone gobbled them up!
My mom also made these amazing dessert burritos that she baked and filled with apples, cinnamon and cream cheese! So delicious! 
Liam has THE best grandparents in the world. They are seriously all so wonderful to him!

After this moment between Liam and baby Piper, the chatter in the room turned to “Liam’s going to make a great big brother one day!” Whew! Not ready for that quite yet, but good to know.
