Here are a few highlights from our first Christmas at home. It was full of laughter, jammies, yummy food, and cuddles. Liam literally opened presents all day long. IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
He was so anxious on Christmas Eve to open presents. This is him pouting because I told him we had to wait one more day.
Oh see that rash ^^ Apparently that was the first sign of Fifth’s disease which I will get into later.
On Christmas Eve we went to Church and then to dinner with my parents. We began a new family tradition of driving around town looking at Christmas lights before bed. Liam LOVED this. After we would leave one house how he would say “More petty light please?”
After we came home we put him down and Ryan and I stayed up late wrapping presents and preparing food. This sounds so silly but it made me feel very “parental” Oh so this is what they did after we fell asleep on Christmas Eve!
Huxley loves his new toys and “big boy” bed as Liam calls it.
He doesn’t watch me or anything….
She is the best Auntie. Look at those smiles!
Dinner and Movie from Erin and Dan! They even offered to babysit!
Easel from Ma and Pa! This was a huge hit. He has those McCarthy art genes.
Jen and Justin were able to come over and just hang out with us for a hew hours!
Sweet basketball hoop from Nonnie and Papa! Ryan can even dunk!
Look how beautiful my mom is and she doesn’t even know it!
It was so weird to stay home….but it was amazing and I had a wonderful day with my beautiful family.
p.s I did really miss all of our extended families MUAH! XOXO!
