Ashley and I spent countless hours planning for this trip….and it was so worth it. We of course went in expecting not everything to stay on course but I think having a plan makes Disney so much more enjoyable. Our first day we headed to Magic Kingdom. It was an incredibly magical day. All you wish it would be and more. I am honestly not a big Disney fan but watching Liam’s eyes light up was just the best. It was also so fun to have the boys experience this together. I know so many people think it is a waste to take them this early but we were able to do so many things with them and they had an absolute ball!
We were pretty much able to walk onto every ride thanks to the Ride Max app and using our FastPasses for the right rides. We had done 8 rides before lunch!! The longest wait we had was 20 minutes for Pirates. I was a little nervous to take Liam on it just because of the drop and I thought it could be a little scary, but it ended up being one his favorite rides of the whole trip. He is still talking about it! And fortunately Kason slept through it!!
We did a fast pass to meet Mickey in the Main Square and I really did not expect it to be as amazing as it was. He was the only character that we met that talked and the boys were hilarious with him! As you will see below. The boys driving the mini van was the best…Also see why people have mini vans with children, so convenient. I love when he does this with his lips. On the ferry to Magic Kingdom. We bought the Memory Maker which was so nice for group photos in all of the must do spots! They were more interested in looking around rather than taking pictures. Fell asleep holding his Mickey stickers. Kason woke up as I was taking a picture of him and smiled at me like this. Little sweeite!
Paul’s doing ^ Ryan coloring with some random kids before lunch, which was incredible! After the Buzz Lightyear ride we bought him this set of toys and maybe some of the best money ever spent. He loves playing with them and held tight to woody and buzz the whole trip. Dropped Buzz and lost his mind. Paul found him though…thank God!
This is one of my favorite pics from the day. Liam loved the te cups he kept saying “DIZZY!” Ryan insisted on gooing on the Huanted mansion which thankfully Kason slept though as well. It was acutally super scary and Liam freaked out in the hallway of knocking doors. I felt bad for taking him on it…..until we got off and he said “Scary, FUN, ride again.” This boy loved it!! Made us feel like better parents HA! Waiting for the Electric Parade to start. We opened and closed the park. This was by far one of the best days I have ever had!
