While getting my tires rotated and an oil change the other day, a woman sitting near us in the waiting area asked me if Liam was 4!!!! I told her that he is not even two and a half and her mouth dropped to floor! She said she couldn’t believe his vocabulary, how clearly he spoke, and how tall he was! Although, I don’t think he looks as tall as a four year old.

Since he turned two back in November he has grown 2 inches and somehow lost two pounds. He is stretching out like crazy.

This boy of mine, he is incredibly smart. And yes, I am biased because he is my child, but seriously, sit and have a conversation with him for five minutes, you will see for yourself.

I really need to to start writing down some of the funny things he is saying. He cracks me up all day. He literally never stops talking. He speaks in multiple sentences like “Mommy I need my hat. It is cold outside. See it is snowing”

Liam knows all his ABC’s, he can sing all of them and identify most of them. He counts to 20 in english and 10 in spanish. All his colors and shapes, I’m talking light blue and octagon. WHAT? He memorizes songs unbelievably fast. He loves old school nursery rhymes. His memory is unreal…he will bring up things from months back. He also loves to memorize directions to everyone’s houses or to church. He knows his left and right and we are starting to work on the days of the week. He can recognize his name and makes very convincing attempts to write it. He can identify so many different types of animals and dinosaurs it blows my mind. He is also very interested in learning the planet’s names. He makes me go over them a lot. I have also started teaching him how to use the mouse on the computer and laptop. He has already mastered the iPad and iPhone obviously. Liam also knows our street name, the state we live in and who the President is. We are working on learning my phone number.

His imagination is just bursting at the seams. It is so fun to play pretend with him. He gets really into whatever we are pretending to do. He loves to play big races with all his cars, restaurant where a whole pizza will cost you $2 and a donut is $25, and farm animals-when dinosaurs attack. And of course anything to do with his Disney toys.

It is really interesting to see your child establish likes and dislikes. Interests and hobbies. Liam just has a thirst for knowledge and he loves learning. It is so easy to teach him things because he is so willing to learn. I’m so proud of our boy. 2015-03-09_0085 2015-03-09_0086 2015-03-09_0087 2015-03-09_0088 2015-03-09_0089 2015-03-09_0090 2015-03-09_0091 2015-03-09_0092 2015-03-09_0093 2015-03-09_0094 2015-03-09_00952015-03-09_0117 2015-03-09_0118 2015-03-09_0119 2015-03-09_0120 2015-03-09_0121 2015-03-09_01222015-03-09_0124 2015-03-09_01252015-03-15_0001Liam’s two year molars are coming in. At the suggestion of my friend Stephanie, my friend Mandy let us use this amber necklace. It is supposed to help with teething pain. Liam loves it. He thinks it is so cool. 2015-03-15_00022015-03-15_00032015-03-15_00042015-03-15_00052015-03-15_0006
