For most of the summer, Ryan has had to travel to Reno once a week for work. The perk is that we have really missed each other which makes our weekend time so special! A few weeks back we headed up to Ryan’s family’s cabin to enjoy some fresh air and relaxation. We spent most of our time in Rocky Mountain National Forest hiking and exploring. Love that Liam is always up for going on adventures and learning as much as possible about the world around him. 
As soon as we entered the park..BOOM a moose!
And then the excitement got to him and he was out.

All weekend Liam kept saying, “I wish I could ride a horse!” Little did he know we had already made plans to surprise him with a pony ride. 
He was a little nervous seeing the big horses but then….
He saw these little guys and all fears dissipated and he was so excited. He loved picking the one that he was going to ride.

I’m so glad we got it on video but he kept saying “Yee haw, I’m a real cowboy!”
This little getaway was so special to me. I’m so thankful for this little family of mine.
