15 months.

It’s only been three months since the last Liam update but I feel like he is doing sooooooo many thing different things that I must write it down (or type it out)!!!! He is an actual little person now with a giant personality. Still active as ever, he keeps me on the go!

Liam’s vocabulary includes Mama, Dada, Papa, Ama (Grandma), Pop pop (Grandpa) Nana (Nonnie) DOG, ball, football, bus, mouse (mickey mouse), awa (water). He signs more, please, thank you, yes, no, water, milk, food, all done, and diaper. He understands so many different things and I can ask him questions or make requests and he will respond correctly. “Can you hand that to Mommy please?” “Put that in the trash.” “Pick out a shirt!” “Do you need a new diaper?” I love that we can finally start communicating!!! He also loves to blow kisses. If you ask him how old he is he holds up one little chubby finger and giggles. I taught him a funny face I have always made at Ryan and now that is his funny face.

His imagination is bursting! I love watching him be creative in his play. He is definitely in a car and truck faze. Why is it that boys are so good and car noises?? It’s not fair! He loves sing a long songs especially the ones that relate to motor vehicles, Wheels on the buss and Hurry Hurry drive the firetruck. Liam has never shown much interest in the ipad or tv which is a good thing…except for those few times I want him to be interested. Finally found one app he likes. It’s basically just flash cards of different automobiles. He will also watch Mater’s Tall Tales, not Cars though. This usually gives me 30 minutes to get ready now, Woohoo.

I have been trying to keep him around other kids. He is really good at meeting new friends and will play with anyone. We have noticed he likes to hug and kiss the girls, so we trying to teach him about personal space. Not really too sure how to handle that one. He loves Kason and when I ask him if Kason is his best friend he says yes…I love that! I took him to the park the other day where a group of middle school boys were playing basketball, he watched for awhile and then threw a fit because he wanted to go play with them!

Liam is obsessed with his grandparents! All of them. He has his special rituals with each of them, which is so interesting because I get to see all his different behaviors. They are all so invested in his life. Truly a special thing.

This kid is an eating machine. I never worry about him not having enough haha! He likes mostly everything. Still not a fan of carrots or chicken.

I can’t say that Liam “sweet” he is rough and tough and all boy. He has started to cuddle a little more which is wonderful for me. I secretly love when he gets sick because I get more cuddles in. He is just so curious and always wanting to learn. Takes a lot to keep up with him and that little brain. Always trying to find new ways to teach him. Can be both mentally and physically exhausting, but rewarding.
