7 Months.

I’m a little late getting this post up (as usual) but this boy keeps me very busy ok! Anyway Liam is growing like crazy. I put off packing up his 3-6 month clothes as long as I could. It makes me cry putting away little outfits I have such sweet memories of him in! Oh well moving on up…in fact….

HE WONT STOP MOVING!!!!!

The week Liam turned 7 months he started crawling…..and hasn’t stopped. As you can assume he is not a fan of all the childproofing we had to do. He hates the gates and so does Huxley! He is so busy and always wanting to go go go! He hates staying home. If we don’t go at least somewhere everyday he is a complete grump. Like Ryan, I have to constantly keep him challenged, he can never just sit and do nothing! Though, thanks to all the good movement we have finally arrived at 2 solid naps a day and a little evening nap. HALLELUJAH!!!!!!

I started introducing some solid finger foods at the beginning of this month and now that is all he is interested in. Mealtime takes an hour because he wants to feed himself (using his left hand!!!) and while he finally figured out how get his food from the tray to his mouth, it doesn’t always make it in his mouth! He loves using his sippy cup and does very well with it. On the plus side he is finally spitting up less!!

He still doesn’t have any separation anxiety. I swear I could give this kid to a complete stranger and as long as they played with him he wouldn’t care! However, with all the movement he is doing when he gets a little “owey” he immediately looks to me for comfort. I like that. He is starting some develop some little quirks that I love. When he is getting his bedtime bottle he scratches is head with one hand and rubs my arm with the other.

Huxley and Liam are going through a no play period, mainly because Huxley is afraid of him! I’m sure their friendship will rekindle when Liam doesn’t try to bite him and rip his ears and fur off. Liam loves to be outside and is going through a major ball phase. They are favorite to play with. He LOVES swimming and playing in the water! Still no words but he has started signing “more.”
