The morning of our trip started out a little hectic. No matter how prepared I think we are we always forget something or something goes wrong! I set my alarm clock for 4:45 p.m instead of a.m. UGH!! Luckily I had most everything ready to go and we flew out of bed at 5:21 (had to leave at 5:30) and ran out the door. Of course it had to be snowing and the line at Frontier to check bags was ridiculous. Also, something I should have known or researched, Frontier is charging for carry ons!! GRRRR!! I was so mad about that….BUT we finally got to our gate with ample time left. I even had time to run to the bathroom to throw on some make up and do my hair WAHOO!
This was Liam’s first flight having his own seat! Beautiful View of Mt. Rainier flying in. First stop was Pike’s Place Market. We came here last time we came to Seattle and loved it. I wanted Liam to see it! That garlic was huge! He is smelling the flowers.
LoPiore Bros. Pasta Bar Rachel’s Ginger Beer Instant Irish accent gum! HA! This was the first time we ever let Liam try gum. We explained that you just chew it you don’t swallow it…but by the time we put it in his mouth and walked down the gum wall alley it was gone. SOOO we used mine instead. So disgusting and beautiful at the same time. I had read a tip of the best place to park (which is in the parking garage across the street from the aquarium. It kept us in walking distance of Pike Place Market, the gum wall, The Aquarium, The Great Wheel, and The Harbor Tour.
This boy hopped on that great big Farris wheel like it was nothing. No fear! Such an awesome and spendy way to see the city, but hey one of those things you do to say you have done it!
We purchased the Seattle City Pass which is a great way to see the great tourist spots for much less than visiting them individually. Our first stop was the Seattle Aquarium
We love aquariums and always seem to go to them anytime we go anywhere new. So glad that Liam shares my affinity for the ocean and aquatic animals.
I had way to much fun….like an embarrassing amount.
