Happy 2nd birthday to the little boy who makes our life better every single day.
Not only does he make our lives better but he has made us (and continues to make us) better people.
Liam is a light. A joy to all he meets and at such a tender age a natural born leader. He is confidant and curious. There is no better sight then to watch his eyes fill with wonder.
He speaks with such certainty, so sure of himself. (And gets very annoyed when you don’t acknowledge that immediately.) He is so secure in who he is it just amazes me to see such a little person be so grand.
Remember how I mentioned that he makes us better people, well we have really started to take our roles as Christian parents way more seriously. So when he brings my bible over and pretends to read out of it, or when we hear him babbling in his room before nap and suddenly hear that sweet voice say AMEN, I am so happy to to know that he is learning through example. We are doing what God has called us to do and that is to be our son’s first and foremost Godly examples.
Liam has gone through some major phases as all children do, but most of the time he is a good sweet little boy who just loves playing with his toys and eating snacks! Liam seriously plays with every toy he owns, no joke. He truly cherishes his things and takes very good care of his toys. Except for that time that he stuck Woody into the hot air balloon at the Tallyn’s reach library and Ashley and I spent 20 minutes fishing him out with yard sticks and tongs. We retrieved him and felt very accomplished, but the glory was short lived because as soon as we were leaving the library, Woody was no where to be found, again. Thank God for Gramma Debbye, she went right out and bought a back up!
