I am two weeks late getting this post up but better late than never.
Oh my goodness, Liam is growing and changing so rapidly now it is unreal. Now at three months old his repertoire of daily milestones includes sleeping in his crib exclusively, rolling over, laughing (hard), playing with toys, chewing on anything and everything, pulling poor Huxley’s hair and still eating every two hours during the day. Though, he is starting to sleep great at night!
I’m sad to report that I didn’t get to witness him first rolling over on his own. Not because I was absent, but because it was in the middle of the night!!!!! I had gone into his room at 1:30 am for his nighttime feeing and he was completely on his tummy! Yikes!! I did get to see the rolly polly action the next morning when he did it playing on a blanket on the floor. I’m so proud of my strong little man. He is doing much better at night. He loves his bedtime routine and has no problem going to sleep in his crib.
The best part of my day is this boy’s smile. It is truly infectious. I can be tired, frustrated, mad, or sad and all he has to do is give me that sweet smile and perfect little giggle. Suddenly all is forgotten and the world is wonderful again. However, the second I pull out the camera to capture it he just stares at it until I put it away, then he smiles again! Stinker!
I finally feel like I can read him exactly. I know and can predict when he is tired, hungry, or needs to get all his energy out. He likes taking naps in his swing. I’m nervous because I don’t know how much longer he will fit! Still working on some sort of daytime routine. More for my sanity than his. I try to spend most of my time in front of his face but I will be honest it is very hard to balance taking care of my husband, the house and a business, when 95% of my time is being with Liam. Though, I would not give this time up for anything in the world. I am so grateful I can be with him everyday. I don’t know how long it will be able to last so in the mean time i don’t want to miss a second.
Liam is all boy. His personality is really starting to shine through. He is funny and active. He absolutely adores his Daddy. Only Ryan can get the the really really hard laughs out of him. He also looooves how Daddy plays with him. Which, is a bit more rough than Mommy hehe! I love taking him places because he instantly brings smiles to pretty much everyone who lays eyes on him. I love that! I have been told on numerous occasions that he has brightened up someone’s day. What a great quality to have.
