It was really difficult for me to get into the holiday spirit this year. Not because I wasn’t excited about it but because my mind has been fixated on my little man. Also, as cliche as this sounds, Liam is the most special gift and he really made anything else just seem not as special!
We attended Christmas Eve service down at New Life in Colorado Springs. Not only was it Liam’s first Christmas Eve service it was his first church service ever! I loved holding him while we worshiped Jesus, it was very emotional for me. Afterwards, we went to Kortnee’s parents home for some yummy treats and to gawk at her mother’s Christmas decorations that looked more like a winter wonderland. Seriously, Christmas exploded in there and I liked it!
We are very fortunate that all our family lives in Colorado, but it makes a very busy Christmas day for us trying to squeeze everyone in. We did it though and we were so excited for everyone to spend some time with Liam.
